El Molino farm (part of the Jasal group) which covers 215 ha of land in the volcanic Apaneca Ilamatepec region of El Salvador. Its varied topography means some plots need structured windbreaks, whilst others require to be shaded.

The Salaverria family own the Jasal group of 40 coffee estates. Since Andres Salaverria took over management of the company in 2011 there has been a strong focus on cup quality and innovative processing, with more than a 100 years of family experience in cultivating, processing and exporting El Salvador’s finest coffees through long term relationships with trusted partners, means excellence in every area of the business. Many of their beans have Cup of Excellence status.
