Our Bean Shop & Espresso Bar is located at 15 Chapel Street in the heart of Inverness. It’s a small shop with big character where you can try our 'Filter of the Week' or have your beans custom-ground for your preferred brewing method.

Are your coffee capsules compatible with Nespresso machines?

Yes! Our 'Be Gone Yawn' and 'Strike the Light' (Decaf) capsules are fully compatible with Nespresso Original machines. They are designed to bring our signature Highland-roasted flavour into a convenient, encapsulated format.

Can I get my coffee beans ground at the Chapel Street shop?

Absolutely. When you visit us on Chapel Street, our 'Team Bean' will be happy to grind any of our freshly roasted whole beans specifically for your home brewing equipment, whether that's an Aeropress, V60, or Espresso machine.

Do you offer a coffee subscription service?

But it's not just about the taste. It's also about the convenience. No more rushing to the local shop in your pyjamas, desperately
searching for a decent bag of coffee. With the Coffee of the Month club, your monthly supply of coffee magically appears at your doorstep, ready to brew a steaming cup of liquid gold.

Coming from the Mayan dialect “Mam” Muxbal translates as “place surrounded by clouds” and is located on a plateau at 1560 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Tacaná volcano, bordering Guatemala.

Finca Muxbal is divided into two sections, the first half is the coffee plantation, and the second half is an ecological reserve. The microclimate of the region provides excellent coffee production.

In 1959, Enrique Rodriguez acquired the farm and began planting coffee there. To date, Jorge Gallardo represents the sixth generation of the family, thus preserving the tradition.

One of the characteristics of Muxbal is its certificate acquired in 2006 as a socially responsible farm that encompasses the implementation of good practices, these are friendly to nature and have a positive impact on the community.

Finca Muxbal has projects that support the development of farmers and their families, every year around 200 to 230 farmers arrive for the harvest and are provided with adequate and decent facilities, in addition to an interesting education program for the children who accompany their parents during this time.
