Coffee Smoothie Recipe
For those of you brave enough to experiment with the cold brew coffee in this weather – it’s great with ice or as a smoothie. Here’s a wee recipe for ya
COFFEE SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
¾ cup of cold brew or chilled brewed coffee
¼ cup of full fat coconut milk
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
½ a frozen banana ( freeze bananas out of their skins cut into slices spread out on a sheet before transferring into bags for easy use)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
3 -4 ice-cubes
Blend together all the ingredients except the protein powder. Once nice and smooth add the protein powder and pulse 4 or 5 times. You can add a teaspoon of maple syrup for a little sweetness if required. Then go get your day in order.
